It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Lenita R. Groos of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on August 20, 2023, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Prouty and Vivian Prouty (Archer); and her daughters, Sally Groos and Dawn Sexter (Groos). She is survived by: her husband Dean; her sons, Darin Groos (Karmen) and Lyle Groos; her siblings, Floyd Prouty (Carol) and Pat Thornberry; her granddaughters, Amanda VanDiepen (Mike), Audrey Stone (Scott) and Alyssa Kemnitz (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Kaleb, Rylee, Nevaeh, Trysten, Talon, Miles and Baylor.
Our family kindly asks that any donations made on behalf of Lenita Groos are made to the Children's Home Society as she devoted her life to children.
