She was predeceased by: her sisters, Julie and Lisa. She is survived by: her parents, Arlyn Thomas and Jeanine Thomas (Jones) of Sioux Falls; her daughter Kennie Brandt of Tempe, AZ; her brother Jim (Holly) of North Charleston, SC; and her nieces and nephews, Allison Barton, Anna Hahn, Sam Falk, Maddie Thomas and Brett Thomas.
