He is survived by: his parents, Larry Ferdig and Joyce Ferdig (Jones); his nephew Shane Highstrom Jr. (Crystal Elsbecker); his great-niece Avery Bittner; and his nieces, Tessa Highstrom (Brian Hudgins) and Tianna Neuharth (Conner Marques). He is also survived by his family and friends, especially his nieces and a nephew.
