He is survived by: his wife Gail Rutzen of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Kim (Chad Dieken) of Victoria, MN and Mike (Susie) of Burke, SD; his grandchildren, Hannah, Brock Karbo, Spencer and William Dieken; his siblings, Roberta Karbo of Sioux Falls, SD, Sandy Nelson (Neal) of Barret, MN and Dan Karbo (Linda) of Alexandria, MN; and his siblings-in-law, Craig Skuya of Sioux Falls, SD, Ronda Karbo of Russell, MN, Sandra Venekamp of Grants Pass, OR and Diane (Leon Sorensen) of Burnsville, MN. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.
