He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Sorensen and Frances Sorensen (George); his siblings, Betty Thompson (Tommy), Avis Hoffman (Virgil), Rhonda Sorensen, Donald Sorensen, George Sorensen (Pat) and Verland Sorensen (Marilyn); his brothers-in-law, Don Beitelspacher (Betty), Jim Buryanek and Erwin Renken; and his parents-in-law, Henry and Louise Beitelspacher.
He is survived by: his friend Larry Sorensen; his wife Arlene Beitelspacher; his daughter Lori (Ryan); his grandchildren, Erika of Sioux Falls, Landon of Sioux Falls and Micah of Sioux Falls; his sister Carole Rasmussen (Dick) of Omaha, NE; his parents-in-law, Laura Mae Nathlich (Gerald) of Woodward, IA, Delores Buryanek of Westfield, IA, Joan Renken of Burnsville, IA, Janice Pritchett (Larry) of Westfield, IA, Ed Beitelspacher (Doris) of Le Mars, IA and Wayne Beitelspacher (Julie) of Le Mars, IA; and his son Paul Donahue. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
