He is survived by: his former wife Diane Jones; his spouse Gail Eide; his children, Travis Hanson (Sioux Falls), Jesse Hanson (Joshua), Trevor Norgaard (Brianne) of Kenosha, WI and Lane Mathison (Sioux Falls); his stepdaughter Tracie Engles (Mathew); his grandchildren, Ayden (Ayden Boy), Blake, Cullen and Addie; his sisters, Sherry Phelan (Paul), Rosemary Jaacks (Merle), Michelle Anderson of Lake Madison, SD, Colleen Johns (Larry) of Harrisburg, SD and Betty Jo Nelson (Tim); his mother-in-law Doris Eide; his sister-in-law Faye Gilderhus (David) of Humboldt, SD; and his close friend Russ Lofswold of Hartford, SD. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
