He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Heard and Bernice Heard (Jasper); and his daughter Leslie Weidenbacher. He is survived by: his son Larry Heard (Shannon Machmiller); his son-in-law Chad Weidenbacher (Jen); his grandsons, Alex and Tanner; his daughter Sheila Ewing (Scott); his granddaughter Adelaide; and his siblings, Jim Heard (Sara) of Edgerton, MN, Jerry Heard (Kathryn) of Howells, NE, Danny Heard (Connie) of Sioux Falls, SD, Mary Vandertop (Gary) and Nancy Janssen (Randy). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts are directed to Ava's Hospice House, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or a charity of your choice.
