He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Melvin G. Hallstrom and Dorothy Hallstrom (Olson); his wife Judy; his sons, Allen Hallstrom (Beth) and Jason Hallstrom; his grandchildren, Zachary Hallstrom (Leah), Katherine Hallstrom, Emma Hallstrom and Sam Hallstrom; his great grandchildren, Isaac and Aria; his siblings, Ron Hallstrom (Winora) and Kim Sankey (Bryant); his brother-in-law David Livingston (Marge); his foster children, Michael, Sarah, Matthew, Anthony, Lukas, Karraye, Luisa and Christopher; and his sister Audrey Livingston. He was also cherished by many other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are preferred.
