He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Archie, Elva, Louis and Elsa; his parents, Bud and Gerry; his aunt Verna Mae; and his uncle Floyd.
He is survived by: his children, Todd Whitaker of Boulder, CO, Melissa Hughey (Marc) of Ocala, FL, Tony Wigton of Sioux Falls, SD and Kyle Wigton (Deidrea) of Sioux Falls, SD.; his grandchildren, Nathan and Killer; his children-in-law, Deidrea and Marc; his siblings, Keith Whitaker (Mary) and Kim Begeman (Ed); his uncle Larry; his aunt Berniece; and also, Mildred Olson, Donna Schaefer, Carl Schaefer, Dean Olson, Cindy Olson, Nancy Krull and Matt Krull.
