He was predeceased by: his parents, Kermit Le Moyne Staggers and Christine Ruby Staggers (Scherich). He is survived by: his former husband Aaron Bird; his sons, Elijah and Matthew; his wife June; his children, Kyle Staggers and Ayn Kristen Bird (Aaron); his grandsons, Elijah and Matthew Bird; and his siblings, Marcia Fain (Robert), David Staggers (Melody) and Bruce Staggers (Kim). He is also survived by many friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be given to the University of Sioux Falls or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
