He is survived by: his son Kris; his wife Lynne; his son Cole Steele (Jessica); his grandchildren, Dain of Duluth, MN, Roman of Duluth, MN, Lincoln of Duluth, MN and Kris Steele of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Loren Steele (Gayle) of Aberdeen, SD, Connie Greenbaum and Rancho; and his sister-in-law Gloria Steele of Hill City, SD.
