He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Holmstrom and Lenora Holmstrom (Wasvick); his siblings, Larry Holmstrom and Shirley Michaelson; his siblings-in-law, Ed Thistle, Bill McMaster and Barbara Holmstrom; his nephew Randy Holmstrom; and his niece Lisa McMaster.
He is survived by: his siblings, Colleen Birkeland (Stan) of Sioux Falls, Kathy McMaster of Sioux Falls, Prudence Thistle of Gardena, CA, Delores Johnson (Murdeen) of Sioux Falls, Vernon Holmstrom (Nancy) of Henderson, NV, Gerald Holmstrom (Nancy) of Red Bud, IL and Marvin Holmstrom of Sioux Falls; and his brother-in-law Gene Michaelson of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
