It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kay Hummel of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Hummel; her daughters, Elizabeth Hummel of Plymouth, MN, Jacquelynn Skotvold of Centerville, SD and Patricia "Trish" Stark (Don Dick) of Tea, SD.; her grandchildren, Jacob Skotvold, Kaitlynn Skotvold, Mason Stark and Taylan Hummel; her daughters, Tameria Atwood, Julie Sagness (Rick), Satara, Lissa and Hallie; her sisters-in-law, Becky McFarland, Karen Swartz and Donna Terveer; her son-in-law Jerry Stark; her brothers, Rick, Dennis and Danny; and her daughter Kristina. She was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hilltop United Methodist Church (1312 S Bahnson Ave, Sioux Falls, SD 57103). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
