She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charles Ward and Juanita Senecal Ward; her husband Mark; her brother Jim Ward; her sister-in-law Carole; her niece Cheri; her daughter Carey; her grandchildren, Corbin, Ivan Smith, Mark, Kathryn Charyk, Tara and Anna Chilton; her great grandchildren, Cora, Lillian, Bennett Smith, Cooper Luce, Iris, Beatrice Calkins Charyk and Chloe Jenkins-Charyk; and also, Doug Smith, John Charyk and Mariam.
Her children invite those wishing to honor their mother to donate to Great Basin College (GBC Foundation P.O. Box 2056 Elko NV 89803), an institution of higher learning that Kathy helped found.
