It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kathryn J. Swier Burgers of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nick Swier and Martina Swier (Wayne Burgers); her son Steven Burgers; and her son-in-law Eugene Baumberger. She is survived by: her husband Wayne Burgers; her daughters, Kathryn, LaVonne Baumberger of Dell Rapids, SD, Beverly (Bernard) and Ouden; and also Gladys Honken. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 8 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed in Kathryn's name to Doughtery Hospice House, 4509 S Prince of Peace Pl, Sioux Falls, SD 57103.
