It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Karlyle Gaertner (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Parkston, South Dakota, who passed away on May 10, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sebastian Gaertner and Josephine Gaertner (Huebsch); and his siblings, Paul, Joe, Wilbert, Mary, Margaret, Regina, Bernadette and Frieda.
He is survived by: his wife Janet of Sioux Falls, SD; and his children, James Gaertner of Viborg, SD, Jennifer Herrboldt (Dave) and Grant Gaertner (Tiana). He is also survived by seven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
