She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. Arie and Corolyn Gaalswyk (Schansberg); and her brothers, Joel and John. She is survived by: her nephew Ian Thomas; her great-nephew Arie Thomas; her niece Kari Gaalswyk; and her sisters-in-law, Julie Thomas, Char Gaalswyk and Chloe Gaalswyk. She is also survived by numerous cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, family is requesting donations be made to: Dr. Arie Gaalswyk Mathematics Scholarship Fund at Augustana College, Sioux Falls or Oglala Lakota College Kyle, South Dakota or a charity of your choice in Judy's name.
