Joyce Lucille Monger Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Lucille Monger of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on October 3, 2022 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her mother Ida Baker (Sorterberg); her son Don; her husband Lawrence Monger; her father Raymond Baker; and her siblings, Kenneth Baker, Virgil Baker, Charles Baker, David Baker, Les Baker, Eunice Buckley and Dorothy Farquhar.
She is survived by: her daughter-in-law Mary; her son Chuck Monger (Mary); her grandchildren, Laura Stockland (Dana), Casey Monger and Jacob Monger; her great grandchildren, Charlie, Ben, Henry and Logan Stockland; and her sister Barbara Galland of Helotes, TX. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be directed to the Brandon Lutheran Choir. In addition, because Joyce delighted, welcomed, and embraced any animals that her sons and grandchildren brought over to her home, please also consider memorials to the Sioux Falls Humane Society as well as Almost Home Canine Rescue.
