He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Joseph Reynolds and Martha Reynolds; his wife Betty Lou Johnson of Yankton; his sons, Jeff Reynolds (Heidi) of Sioux Falls and Randy Reynolds (Tiffany Slate) of Yankton; his grandchildren, Shelby Hodge (Spencer) of Mission Hill, Josh Reynolds of Vermillion, Hannah Erickson (Logan) of Sioux Falls and Sam Reynolds of Sioux Falls; his great grandchildren, Danni and Oakley Hodge of Mission Hill; his great-grandparent Sailer Erickson of Sioux Falls; his siblings, Robert Reynolds (Gladys), Geraldine Johnson and Frank Reynolds; his brother-in-law Larry Remington; and his sister Mary Donna Schultz. He was also cherished by his sons-in-law, and his daughters all remained dear friends.
After living through the recent "COVID years" Joe and Betty had the opportunity to move to Sioux Falls in the spring of 2023 to be closer to healthcare providers while living independently in their own home just across the street from their youngest son, Jeff and his family.
