With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jolene Groen of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on March 21, 2021 at the age of 51. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jolene Groen to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her mother Joanne Wilma Groen (Bothof); her brother John Henry Groen Jr.; and her grandparents, Johanna Bothof, Henry John and Mary J. Groen.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Jocelyn, Carson, Emily and Olivia; her father John Henry Groen (Marcella); her niece Clarissa Wilson (Casey); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Jocelyn, Carson, Emily and Olivia of Pipestone; her nieces, Chelsey Kroll (Jon), Cassandra Walhof (Dylan), Chandler and Chantel Vis (Wesley) of Valley Springs, SD; her brother Jason Bronson-Groen (Kyle); her nieces and nephews, Dylan and Kaiden of Timothy; her sister Julie Sherman (Jim); and her nieces and nephews, Lincoln and Madison of Luverne, MN.. She is also survived by her siblings in the "grandma" role of her nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Lost Timber Bible Camp in Chandler, MN, or to Southwest Minnesota Christian Schools in Edgerton, MN.
