With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John W. Thomson (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Centerville, South Dakota, who passed away on September 4, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John N. and Muriel (Wanamaker); his spouse Nane A. McConnell; and his sister Martha. He is survived by: his children, John L., James (Kathy) and Ann Cole (Charles); his grandchildren, Rev. Sarah Marshall (Marc), John L. Thomson (Elaine), Maddie McElhenny (John), Dr. Christopher Thomson (Allison), Joseph Thomson, Alex Cole and Erin Cole; his nephew Fred Christenson (Amy); and his niece Molly Herschede (Eric). He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
