He is survived by: his daughter Nancy (Matt); his sisters, Lois Byrum and Thelma Allison; his sisters-in-law, Becky Thompson and Rita Sutton; his son John; his daughter-in-law Rachelle; and his grandchildren, John IV, Sam Sutton and Mary Lynn Smith of Sioux Falls.
