He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hanson and Margaret Hanson (Garvin); his sister Agnes Bisson of Fergus Falls, MN.; his wives, Florane Wessels and Rita Brock; and his grandson Don Olmstead.
He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Olson (Michael), Barbara Scott (Rex) of Westminister, CA, Deanne Johnson (Del) and Denise Schmidt (Jon) of Sioux Falls, SD; and his stepsons, John Brock (Chris) of Auburn, MI, Robert Brock of Sioux Falls, SD and Douglas Brock (Deb) of Sioux Falls, SD. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
