He is survived by: his wife Janice; his children, Donald Pierson (Shelly) of Sioux Falls, SD, Steven Pierson and Susan Pierson; his grandchildren, Melissa Pierson, Tyler Pierson and Emilee TeSlaa (Levi); his great grandchildren, Jayce and Wyatt Pierson; and his sister Audrey Heidinger.
