We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2020, at the age of 97, John L. McMunigal (Sioux Falls, South Dakota) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. McMunigal and Mae McMunigal (Ryan) of Wakonda, SD.; his wife Jean Bassing; his son Dan; his grandson Zachery; and his siblings, Edward, Paul, Mary Jean, Margaret, Eugene, Patricia and Charles.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia McMunigal of Sioux Falls, Gary McMunigal (Judy) of Larchwood, IA, Mary Rathbun (Mike) of Sheridan, WY, Carol Sevier (Dick) of Boise, ID, Tom McMunigal (Lisa) of Longmont, CO and Lynn Kristos (Mike) of San Marcos, CA; his grandchildren, Megan Melaku (Henock), Breanna Kristos, Abby Sevier, Emma Sevier, Thomas McMunigal (Ashley), Lee McMunigal (Danielle), Shawn Munns and Cammie Kvamme; his great grandchildren, Mattias, Lucas, Hailey, Khloe, Connor and Calla; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy McMunigal, Carmen Bassing, Fred Fuchs and Joe Bassing (Joan).
