He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fred Engel and Elizabeth Renner Engel; his children, Valerie Lentz (Sioux Falls), Brett and Rachel Steele (Plankinton); his grandchildren, Katrina Lentz Kruse (Kevin), Joshua Lentz-Sioux Falls, Matthew Lentz (Kayla), Cara Steele Karber (Corey) and Caleb Steele-Plankinton; and his great grandchildren, Tyler Struss, Blaine Lentz, Ezekiel Kruse, Gabriel Lentz, Elijah Kruse and Wesley Kruse.
