John Hagerman Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Hagerman (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), who passed away on June 12, 2019 at the age of 93. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John Hagerman to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Hagerman and Inez Hagerman; his sister Mary Foster; his sister-in-law Patricia Hagerman; and his stepson Peter J. Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his sons, Dean (Nancy) of Boise, ID, John F. (Jan) of Minneapolis and Carr (Marian) of Minneapolis; his stepchildren, Greg Zimmerman of Portland, OR, Kathleen McLeod (Scott) of Glen Ellen, CA, Thomas Zimmerman of Sioux Falls and Mary Pat Sullivan (Ross) of St. Helena, CA; his brother Bob (Nancy) of Glen Arbor, ME; and his close friend Sam Lukens of Sioux Falls. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to be made to either his much loved Center for Active Generations, or the Sanford Ava's House, in appreciation for the excellent and compassionate care given to John.
