He is survived by: his significant other Sharon Smith of Yankton, SD; his daughters, Delena Thornton of Colorado, Denita Thornton of Colorado and Andrea Reed of Sioux Falls, SD; his siblings, Rose Blakey of Yankton, SD, Marilyn Wright (Tom) of Norfolk, NE and Marvin Thornton of Sioux Falls, SD; his stepdaughters, Brenda, Kim, Jackie and Tracy; and his sisters, Charlene Stuhlmacher, Deloris Borema, Eleanor Snoozy, Margaret Thornton and Carol Thornton. He is also survived by 29 nieces and nephews.
