It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Dyvig of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on April 10, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of John H. Dyvig to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dyvig and Martha Dyvig (Ribble); his former wives, Charlotte Huber and Cheryl Vogtsberger; his son Leigh Dyvig; his stepdaughter Kirsten John; and his granddaughter Marci Eng.

He is survived by: his wife Naola; his sons, Mark Dyvig (Amy) and Cameron Dyvig (Mary); his daughter-in-law Terry Dyvig; his daughters, Judy Jones and Sherri Bitterman (Danny); and his grandchildren, Alan (Jennifer), Dale, Gordy (Linda), Charles (Melissa), Colin (Deesha), Cody (Bri), Jessie (Justin), Chris (Nicole), Beau, Alex, Amy (Derek) and Emily (Travis). He is also survived by 31 great grandchildren; 49 great-great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to the Sioux Falls Optimist Club or to Our Savior's Lutheran Church.
