He was predeceased by: his parents, Luverne Satter and Mavis Satter (Paulson); and his grandson Cody Smith. He is survived by: his wife Linda Trudeau; his children, Brenda Smith (Robert Jensen) of Crooks, SD, James Satter of Oakland, CA, Christy Satter of Fountain Hills, AZ and Travis Satter of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Tara Smith, Taylor Smith (Maca) and Tucker Smith (Julia Easter); his great grandchildren, Ella, Mara, Alejandro, Philippa, Jack and Sloane; his siblings, David Satter (Marvey) of Watertown, SD and Judith Hammerstrom (Greg) of Watertown, SD; his nephew Bryan Satter of Sioux Falls, SD; and his nieces, Laurie Tennis (Sean) of Watertown, SD, Heather Gorrell (Gary) of Manassas, VA and Shannon Cornwell of Watertown, SD. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
