He is survived by: his children, Rick DeJong of Sioux Falls, SD, Brenda DeJong of Sioux Falls, Lisa Dietrich (Todd) of Flandreau, SD and Amy Johnson (Troy) of Sneads Ferry, NC; and his sisters, Julia Amdahl and Carol Biegger (Doug) of Loveland, CO.
