He is survived by: his children, Sue Clausen (Steve) of Sioux Falls, SD, Doug Smook of Sioux Falls, SD and Teri Shaw (Mark) of Lincoln, NE; his daughter-in-law Ellen Smook of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, Heather Behrens (Greg) of Sioux City, IA, Brittany Christensen (John) of Tea, SD, Cortney Platter (Nathan) of Eden Prairie, MN, Rachel Meyer (Luke) of Lincoln, NE and Brady Shaw of Lincoln, NE; and his great grandchildren, Avery, Isabel, Nalani and Hudson.
