He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Gordon and Margorie Gordon (Gleich); his wife Janice Letsche; his sister Patty; his brother-in-law Jerry Jesse; his siblings, Mary Bassett and William; his siblings-in-law, LaDeen Gordon and Vincent "Doots" Jesse; his brother Robert; his grandson Matthew Gordon; and his nephews, Kevin Jesse and Bobby Ellis.
He is survived by: his children, Russell Gordon (Stacy) of San Antonio, TX, Carol Wickham (Michael) of Baltic, SD, Daniel Gordon (LeeAnne) of Mesa, AZ and Darrell Gordon (Rebekah) of Riverton, WY; his grandchildren, Ashley Gordon, Anthony Gordon, Michelle Holden, Joe Gordon, Rebecca Long, Elijah, Nathan, Samantha and Quinn; his great grandchildren, Sarah, Astryd, Zaiden, Daxton, Ashton, Crystalyn, Isabella, Sasha and Shai; and his siblings, Peggy Jesse and Dick Gordon (Marlene). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kinzley Funeral Home (500 N Main St, Salem, SD 57058). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Zion Lutheran Church (350 W Elm St, Canistota, SD 57012). A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the Rosehill Cemetery.
