She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur and Anna; her sister Kathryn Chadwick; and her stepparents, Raymond Buchholtz and Hazel Ambroson.
She is survived by: her siblings, Richard Ambroson (Gladys) of Sioux Falls, SD, Cindy Drennen (Rick) of Flandreau, SD, Don Ambroson (Tamara) of Irvine, CA, Gerald Ambroson (Diane) of Sioux Falls, SD and Gene Ambroson of Sioux City, IA; her brother-in-law Doug Chadwick of Rochester, MN; her cousins, Madonna Steensma (Wayne) of Sioux Falls, SD, Barbara Jones and Sioux Falls; her nieces and nephews, Eric Ambroson, Sarah Drennen Lang, Michael Drennen, Lauren Chadwick Wahl, Richard, Gabriel, Josh, Julie, Joe and Kenneth Ambroson; and also, David Steensma, Mary Albrecht, Dan Steensma, Michael, Joe and Jim Jones.
