He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan Lennart Thorin and Mabel Amanda Severson; his wife Diann Dickey; and his siblings, Maxine, Dorothy and Arnold.
He is survived by: his children, Tammy Stewart (Curt) of Murray, UT, Todd Thorin (Deyanira) of Sioux Falls, SD and Tim Thorin (Laura) of Owasso, OK; his stepdaughter JoLynn Moriarty (Cal) of Sioux Falls; and his former wife Dona Ball of South Jordan, UT. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
