He is survived by: his daughter Melissa (Jay Staebell); his grandchildren, Anya and Alex; and his siblings, Patty Nelson of Texas, Tom (Joan) of Sioux Falls and Paul (Michele) of Maryland. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
