He was predeceased by: his parents, Rex Jackson and Delores Jackson; his stepmother Marceline; his stepsiblings, Bill Oertwich and Sharon Erickson (Gary); and his niece Jennifer.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Boone; his children, Laura Houchins (Michael) of Newport News, VA, Jeff Jackson (Christina) of Murrieta, CA and Rick Jackson (Kim); and his siblings, Jeanette Kassmeier (Dale) of Papillion, NE, Judy Michel (Randy) of Norfolk, NE, Beverly Schmidt (Vitus), Nancy Paul (Mike), Pat McCollister (Steve), Rod Oertwich of Omaha, NE, Randy Oertwich (Lori), Doug Oertwich and Russ Jackson of Omaha, NE.. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
The Jackson family will be holding a service at Miramar national cemetery on February 23, 2021 at 11:00 AM and request any donations to be made to the Wounded Warriors in lieu of flowers.
