He was predeceased by: his father Kenneth Heerde; his grandfather Richard Schlumbohm; his brother Cory Heerde; and his nephew Brady Destigter. He is survived by: his mother Jacqueline Heerde (Schlumbohm); his wife Sandra Heerde of Sioux Falls, SD; his children, Jeremy Heerde (Kristi) of Canton, SD, Shawn Heerde, Sioux Falls and Kendra Thomas (Bryan); his grandchildren, Christian, Asher, Brady, Brooke, Brianna, Brailey, Hayden, Hudson, Harper, Azlynn, Trinity and Remi; his grandmother Loretta Schlumbohm of Rock Rapids, IA; and his siblings, Beth Destigter (Berwyn) of Sioux Falls, SD, Todd Heerde (Dawn), Michelle Kellenberger (Ladell), Lester and Sara Schubert (Dean). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
