With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jeannette C. Nelson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on August 12, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Hooker and Zelma Hooker (Erickson); her husband Jerome; and her brothers, Clifford and Walter "Mike" Hooker.

She is survived by: her children, Jim of Stickney, SD, Jack (Michelle) of Sioux Falls and Jo Jacobson (Bill) of Jordan, MN. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
