She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Bassing and Ethel Bassing; her brothers, Robert "Bob" and Charles "Chuck" Bassing; and her grandson Zachery.
She is survived by: her husband John "Jack" McMunigal of Sioux Falls; her children, Daniel McMunigal of Sioux Falls, Patricia McMunigal of Sioux Falls, Gary McMunigal (Judy) of Larchwood, IA, Mary Rathbun (Mike) of Sheridan, WY, Carol Sevier (Dick) of Boise, ID, Tom McMunigal (Lisa) of Longmont, CO and Lynn Kristos (Mike) of San Marcos, CA; her grandchildren, Megan Melaku (Henock), Breanna Kristos, Abby Sevier, Emma Sevier, Thomas McMunigal (Ashley), Lee McMunigal (Danielle), Shawn Munns and Cammie Kvamme (Curtis); her great grandchildren, Mattias, Lucas, Hailey, Khloe, Connor and Calla; her brother Joseph Bassing (Joan) of Sioux Falls; and her sisters-in-law, Carmen Bassing of Plymouth, MN and Nancy McMunigal of Sioux Falls. She is also survived by many children, grandchildren and friends.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the family for future designation to St. Lambert's Church, Feeding South Dakota, or a charity of your choice.
