Jason Kotilnek Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jason Kotilnek of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 19, 2025 at the age of 45. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Tom Kotilnek; his grandparents, Joe, Mary Ellen Schofield, Roger and Kathryn Kotilnek; his uncles, Vincent Schofield, Tim Riggins and Joe Prouty; and his cousin Michael Schofield.
He is survived by: his mother Cecelia Kotilnek (Schofield); his daughter Abigail Kotilnek; his significant other Tyanne Autumn Pearson; his siblings, Gina Hickenbotham (Scott) and Jon Kotilnek (Pati); and his nieces and nephews, Max, Ben, Thomas and Hanna. He is also survived by numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Peter and Paul Catholic Church (304 N Euclid Ave, Pierre, SD 57501). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Peter & Paul Catholic Church (304 N Euclid Ave, Pierre, SD 57501).
