It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Merrick of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, who passed away on August 11, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Ashby and Bertha Ashby (Schulte); her siblings, Rose, Elizabeth, Mary and Gene; and her husband John Merrick.
She is survived by: her children, However, Stacey Strenge (Scott) of Wyndmere, ND and Daniel Merrick of Sioux Falls, SD; her grandchildren, Sierra and Vincent Strenge; her brother Charles Ashby (Teri) of Lead, SD; and her brothers-in-law, Bill (Sandy) of Sioux Falls, SD and Jim Abbas.
