We are sad to announce that on May 2, 2019 we had to say goodbye to Janet Torkelson-Kurvink (Sioux Falls, South Dakota), born in Marion, South Dakota. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Alberts and Jennie Alberts (Van Gerpen); her former husband Quentin Torkelson; her daughters, Kay Elmstrand (Chuck) of Sioux Falls and Karen Mihin (Mike) of Mesa; her grandchildren, Marc Elmstrand of Sioux Falls and Kristi Ostlund (Rob) of Princeton; her great grandchildren, Matthew, Lucas, Megan and Meredith Ostlund; her grandson Eric Mihin; and her husband Wayne Kurvink.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Peace Lutheran Church and to the Torkelson Family Scholarship for Nursing at Augustana College.
