He was predeceased by : his wife Nancy; his parents, Ernest Rumbolz and Effie Rumbolz; and his siblings, Ernest Rumbolz, Jr., Robert Rumbolz and Donalee Rumbolz.
He is survived by : his children, Terryl Cadwell of Sioux Falls, Cheryl Pedersen (Steve) of Eagan, MN, Jay Rumbolz (Angie) of Yakima, WA, and Judy Rumbolz of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Chad (Chrissy), Chelsea (Brady), Aaron (Stephanie), Rachel (Tony), Mara (Adam), Alex (Cassie), Hannah (Joel), Megan (Tim) and Austin and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the SD Highway Patrol Association.
