Goettsch and Marie Goettsch (Koch); his wife Norene Ann Beck; his children, Tim Goettsch (Kristen) of Sioux Falls and Jane Taylor (Todd) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Cassandra Goettsch, James Taylor and Emma Taylor; and his great grandchild River Starch.
