He was predeceased by: his daughter Nikki Holmes (Menk). He is survived by: his parents, James Sr. Menk and Ermalee Menk (Smart); his wife Joyce Menk (Engel); his son Jason Menk; his son-in-law Shawn Holmes; his grandchildren, Peyton Holmes, Preston Holmes and Phoebe Holmes; and his siblings, Barb Wille (Menk), Steve Menk and Dave Menk. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Do to the present COVID outbreak and respect for the health of others face masks are strongly encouraged.
In Lieu of flowers, memorials may take the form of donations in Jim's memory to the Avera Foundation.
