He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Earl Smedsrud and Eldena Smedsrud (Cross); his wife Janelle Landeen; his sons, Mark Smedsrud (Amy) of Sioux Falls and Mike Smedsrud (Emily) of Sioux Falls; his grandchildren, Kelsy, Kaley, Jaden, Peyton, Brecken and Dawson; his siblings, David, Keith Smedsrud, Eileen Siebenahler, Evonne Meinerts (Al), Ellen Barton (Monty), Dale and Dwight Smedsrud; his brother-in-law Bill Predmore of Luverne, MN.; and his sister Elaine Predmore.
