He is survived by: his children, Brian Carman of Fond, Michele Tuschen (Craig) of Alexandria, SD, Deana Nardiello (Chrys) of Sioux Falls and Jason Carman (Angela) of Gardner, KS; his grandchild Devon Tuschen (Hailey) of Mitchell, SD; his children, Connor Tuschen of Alexandria, SD, Zachary Tuschen of Alexandria, SD, James Nardiello of Sioux Falls, Kaitlin Nardiello of Sioux Falls, Maddie Carman of Gardner, KS and Hudson Carman of Gardner, KS; and his siblings, Mary Beth Carman of Sioux Falls, Rick Carman (Laura) of Walton, NE and Bob Carman (Pam) of Piedmont, SD..

Jim's final act was to give the gift of life through cornea and tissue donation.
