It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Alan Einerwold of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, born in Madison, South Dakota, who passed away on November 23, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Einerwold and Rosella Einerwold (Rasmussen); his sister Linda O'Neal; his nephew Ronnie Einerwold; and his granddaughter Brenna Flickema.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy VanderHeiden; his children, David Einerwold (Kim), Jerrod Einerwold (Karly), Jason Einerwold (Tammy) and Dawn Flickema (Todd); and his sister Mary Carmody (Jack). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
Sadly, he succumbed to the Covid virus.
In 2014 James transitioned to nursing home care due to Parkinson dementia.
