She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Hartwig and Faith Hartwig (Lackey); her brother Gerald Hartwig; her sister-in-law Karen Larson; her nephew Karl Hartwig; and her niece Cathy Claire De Laura.

She is survived by: her husband Jerry Hanson; her children, Jodi Hanson (Andy Vos) of Sioux Falls, SD, Jeff Hanson (Laurie) of Brush, CO and Joel Hanson (Robyn) of Gypsum, CO; her sister Jan Ruppel (Rodney) of Beaumont, TX; and her sister-in-law Shoonie Hartwig of Roseville, MN. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
